I created a page for my subscribers. When I preview the page and enter the password nothing happens. I also tried publishing the page to see if that would make it work, but it didn’t. Any reason why this part wouldn’t work because of the Activello theme?

Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.
I have tested it on my test site and it’s working fine for me using latest version of Activello theme as displayed in the attached screenshots.
Please make sure you are using latest version of theme.
Could you please share me the page URL from your site where it is not working correctly so that i can troubleshoot it?
This can be due to plugin conflict on your site so please try temporary deactivating all plugins and see whether everything works fine and then enable the plugins one by one to see which plugin is conflicting if any.
