Hi! Is there a way to make the Recent Posts plugin look on the Shapely homepage how the Recent Posts look on the Illdy theme homepage?
That is, make them so they have a picture and so that they are aligned horizontally and not vertically?
There was a plugin developed in this thread but it didn’t do the trick for me.

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
You have to develop custom code to display Recent Posts widget same as it looks on the Illdy theme but you can display the thumnbnail on it by using the custom plugin solution shared in the following topic which is working fine for me.

Please make sure you have set featured images to the posts.
