I’m looking to place the default search bar of Wordpress in the header section and I’ve found a topic where there should be a solution.
However I can’t access the attachment that’s being mentioned in the topic:
How can I access this child theme and is it still up-to-date?

The CHild theme from that ticket is unfortunately removed, but you can use this function in your header.php (in a child theme) to add search function:
Thank you, I had already found that function, but was hoping the child theme perhaps had the styling worked out so I didn’t have to figure out all the css etc.
But that’s ok, I’ll figure it out.
