Search in menu (icon only) for Sparkling WordPress theme

Love the theme.

I used the following page to create a search in menu, but I would like a icon only and not the word “Search” after the icon.

https://colorlibsupport.com/t/how-to-create-search-for-sparkling-theme-like-one-on-colorlib-main-website/

If i delete the word Search from Navigation Label in the menu, it deletes the menu item itself.

Also I would love it if it was below or above the menu like the following.

wp-themes.com/zerius/

andersnoren.se/themes/radcliffe/about-radcliffe/

Thanks

First part answered, try changing the menu to the below, this seems to have worked for me.

Navigation Label = <span class=”glyphicon glyphicon-search”></span>
Title Attribute = Search

Hi @gcneal2,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your questions.

Also I would love it if it was below or above the menu like the following.

wp-themes.com/zerius/

You will have to develop custom code to achieve this.

Developing custom code for custom functionality is beyond the scope of support that we provide here.

If you are not a developer then you can consider hiring a developer to develop it for you. You can hire a developer from any freelance site. We recommend the developer https://www.upwork.com/freelancers/~011652ffec8865c6d5

Why have you created and operating two accounts in the support forum?

It’s not recommended to do this.

Movin

Seems duplicate of your following existing topics :

Hi Movin

Thanks for your reply.

I did mention in the second post that I had solved that issue and listed how.

Could I suggest the image under “2.1.2. Glyphicons” and others be changed to the one like “2.2 Font Awesome Icons” both on page Sparkling Theme Documentation - Colorlib

I think thats whats caused a few of the issues.

Any help on putting the search bar above or below the menu would be great.

Thanks again.

Thanks. We will do consider your feature request in the future development of the theme. You can also create feature requests for this theme on the following page.

You will have to develop custom code to achieve search bar like that.
