After I installed this theme I’m having some problems with the sidebar widgets.
For some reason, it stops showing widgets after my popular posts widget. I’ve had this widget for a long time on my old theme so I don’t think the widget is causing the problem.
For example there is now a category widget beneath the popular posts widget which is not showing up.

Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.
I have tested it on your site and found you are using the following WordPress Popular Posts plugin but you are using older version 2.2.1 of it so please try using latest version 3.3.1 of it.
If updating the plugin doesn’t resolve the issue then can you please try temporary enabling WP_DEBUG mode? To do this, just go to wp-config.php include this:
define('WP_DEBUG',true);
You might already have a line for WP_DEBUG, so just make sure it’s set to true.
Let me know what errors if any you are getting when you face this issue.
FYI the Sparkling also provides the “Sparkling Popular Posts” Widget that you will find on widgets screen.
