Every time the slider scrolls through a new Featured Image it changes sizes to the picture size - in the preview of this theme it seemed like the picture would be full width across the page but the overflow on the top and bottom were hidden.
My website is thecouturecomplex.com if you want to see what I mean. I’d like it to remain 1 static size and any overflow on bigger pictures would be hidden. Is this possible?
Okay so I thought I got the fixed height figured out but the pictures still vary in width. Is there a way to have them all span the full width of the page?
Also, for some reason the first picture in the slider has the blog post title and the read more option, but none of the next slide images do. Is there a solution for this?
I’ve just been trying to find the answer to the same problem. How do you fix the slider height so that the page doesn’t jump up and down with different featured image sizes. It’s workable by fixing all the image sizes in an editor in advance, but when I’ve used sliders before in other themes (or slider plugins) there’s usually an option to fix the height.
Is this possible, please?
I also want to change the background colour of the text used in the slider. I’m guessing I’ll have to do this in CSS, but if there’s an easier option please let me know. Is there a way to access more of the slider options?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give with this.
@Joanna To help us keep support thread separates could you please create your own thread for your question here https://colorlibsupport.com/c/activello/ instead of replying on others thread as it makes the thread messy and hard to read.
If you want to you can also add reference of this thread in your newly created thread.

In the video I watched on how to install the slider with this theme the user seems to be using images of every size, but they all display the same once featured in the slider. My slider would expand and collapse in height with each different image until I put a max-height:500px tag in the CSS. But now that I’ve done that, the title of each post is pushed down and around so sometimes it’s up high and sometimes it’s down low, and sometimes it doesn’t display at all. I’ve tried manually cropping each featured image but it’s still not working.
All my images are bigger than that, they are taken with a DSLR so my smallest image is 2300 × 1500. I also have that plugin running. My blog post titles are still all over the place, some high up on the image some down low, some not displaying at all. Do you have any idea what is causing this?
Thanks for the offer and yes, but can I just check why? Are you saying that the slider should default to keeping the same header size and this is something unusual?
