Slider doesn't show up

Hi admin,

I created a category and add 3 posts with featured images. Also enabled slider feature in theme settings, but slider doesn’t show up.

I do like this theme WP. Thanks :slight_smile: But i have problems with featured slider images.
I want to make the featured silder images on my website like on demo,https://colorlib.com/sparkling/ or like on this website http://www.ayktech.kz/sg1

The featured slider images on my website,http://suksestogether.com/, is too big. How to make them like on the demo?

Hi aizen,

It’s just a matter of slider image size.
Image size on my website is 1920x550 and this was recommended in Colorlib documentation.
That should resolve your problem.

So, I have to corp my images to 1920x550, right? It means the words and picture on my images are corpted as well. sademoticon

I see the slider image size on your web is 1920x550 and the image size on your posts (thumbnail) is 750x410.

My questions are:

  1. How to make the featured slider image 1920x550 and the featured image 750x410?
  2. Where do i post the featured sleder image and the featured image? Are they both posted in the same column (featured image)?

I’m a beginner for WordPress :smiley:

You are welcome, bro!

Right, you should crop it or modify your image so that picture and text are inside the frame.
I just added featured image for a post, and WP resized it automatically in post view.
If you want to use different images on post and slides, then you should embed image in a post and disable featured image to show as thumbnail (actually I don’t know how to do this, but you can ask it on this form).
Me either not a guru in WP =)

To make the shop page like that you have to use this WooCommerce – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org eCommerce plugin along with the Sparkling theme.

If you want to you can also add reference of this thread in your newly created thread.
