Slider not working

Hello,

Our shop has been online for half a year or so, and now I would like to change the slider picture due to its big size and it is outdated by now. The only problem is that I’m using the child theme, in which I cant change the slider image. If I revert back to the Sparkling theme, I can do that. But as soon as I switch back to the Sparkling child theme, my picture is back as the old one, which is not even in a post anymore.
Disabled all plugins, havent solved my problem.
Help?

Hello there,

I hope you are doing well today.

You need to change the slider image in the child theme because the child theme seems to be using its own slider files.

Did you make this child theme yourself?

Hello

If I change it in the child theme, nothing happens.
I’m using the child theme provided by Movin, downloaded from this post: https://colorlibsupport.com/t/slider-for-pages/#post-33351

Thanks for letting me know.

This is a custom child theme from 2015 so the child theme may be outdated here and that is causing the issue. You would have to use the parent theme or make a new child theme and carry over the custom files from the current child theme to the new one.

Hi,

I made a new child theme, but the issue was that in my older (from 2015) child theme there was a line in my functions.php which made my selected pages appear as the slider instead of selected posts.
