Slider Not Working

Howdy!

I’ve scoured the forum for a solution to my problem, and I’ve attempted all other solutions. However, the image slider on the page I’m working on is not working at all. The steps I’ve taken are:

Checked the “Slider Enabled” feature in Theme Options
Set # of images in slider
Sized the featured images appropriately
Uploaded featured images

I’ve checked 3 browsers, and it’s still not showing. Jetpack has been disabled as well. Is there something I’m missing here?

As there is an “under construction” page up on the site I’m working on currently, there are screencaps attached.

I also just noticed that a few widgets aren’t working either: Pinterest Widgets, and Facebook Widgets aren’t showing in the side-bar or footer.

Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.

It seems from your shared screenshots that you are still using older version of Sparkling theme.

Could you please try using the latest version of Sparkling theme that contains many enhancements and bug fixes. Then configure the slider from the following path.

Admin Area -> Appearance -> Customize -> Sparkling Options -> Slider options

Thank you. I updated the theme to the new one, and the template functioned as it should for a few hours, and happened again…

Hi @shesthevoice,

I troubleshooted on your site and found the slider markup is generated but the slider javascript is not working on your site.

This can be due to plugin conflict on your site specially the instagram-slider-widget plugin so please try temporary deactivating all plugins and see whether everything works fine and then enable the plugins one by one to see which plugin is conflicting if any.
