slider problem

i have read through the forums and know the size of 1920x550 but it doesn’t matter what size i upload all i get in the slider is a square.
i’m designing a Wordpress site for a friend and i can’t figure out the slider problem!
any help would be greatly appreciated!

I visited your shared site and saw the images set for the slider posts are too small as displayed here http://www.kaikaiproductions.ca/new/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/colorlib-logo-slider-750x410-400x300.jpg

Please make sure again that you have set large images for the slider posts having size at least 1920px X 550px and then try using the following plugin to regenerate the thumbnail images.

thats for the prompt reply!
i made a picture in photoshop to 1920x550px and tried that… still comes in square… changed media setting to all picture sizes to 1920x550. tried using the regen plugin… is there a setting for the slides i’m setting wrong?
