I want to create a unique static homepage for my blog. Can I do this with this theme? How so?

I’m sorry I don’t understand these instructions. I know how to use widgets on the site - and I already use Jetpack widgets. I want to create an entirely new homepage that doesn’t have my recent blog posts, and just has some static buttons, images, and text. Where in this guide does it tell me how to do this? Thank you very much for your help.

IN this case, just start with blank page, set it as a homepage from the settings reading and design that plank page as you wish, there is nothing unusual in this process, you will have default word press text editor on the page and everything you add on the page will be displayed on the page
