Submenu items not displayed in Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge (take 2)

Submenues still do not show in Microsoft Edge. I used the above code:

Thanks. FYI - The problem appears to have been caused by the update to the “Smush-it” plugin. The only thing i did yesterday was roll it back to the previous version (because of a conflict preventing images from displaying in my galleries).
