Template: Can't use as website or theme

Downloaded “Home » HTML & CSS Website Templates » Hotel » Harbor Lights”. I want to use it in WordPress.

When I try to import the harborlights.zip file I get this error:
The import archive contains one or more invalid files. Please make sure the names of your XML files don’t contain punctuation marks like brackets, commas, quotes, etc.
Make sure you are using a valid WordPress export file in XML or ZIP format.

When I try to upload it as a theme I get this error:

Installing theme from uploaded file: harborlights.zip

Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme installation failed.

What am I doing wrong and how do I fix it?

It’s HTML & CSS Website Templates, you can’t install it as a WordPress theme, that’s not possible.


I Want a refund for my purchased template too as you have mentioned on your website full refund is possible within the period.

I signed up for a life time membership. Since I can’t use the template in WordPress I want a refund. I purchased on April 25th, 2024 but wasn’t able to download it until April 29th. Sent in a message to the forum that I couldn’t get the template (Harborlights) to work on my WordPress site. The response I received was: Hi there
It’s HTML & CSS Website Templates, you can’t install it as a WordPress theme, that’s not possible. Which was not helpful at all. On April 30th I then contacted my website people to see if they could get it to work on my WordPress site and on May 7th they couldn’t. At which time I sent an message through your contact page that I wanted a refund and I haven’t heard a peep. If I don’t hear from you tomorrow, I will contact my credit card company and dispute the charges. Let me know what you’re going to do.
