Hi guys
i came across of the nice fashe theme you have developed by a website who featured yours. Usually i never use free themes. I pay for it because nobody works for free and i am running a business and mostly it needs support. i guess less with shopify but support these days is one of my key elements i take care. But why did i even install it? because i liked it! i have been working with wordpress, shopify and magento themes and yours is just simple and clean.
BUT its hard to understand publishing such a buggy theme even it is free. It just damages the reputation of a company. Basic shopping features are missing or not working properly as mentioned in other posts here. I was going away to take another one but i come back to write here because i really like it. I can hire someone else for custom work but then i have the same mess we had with magento and different peoples involved so i like to have it coming from one company.
Since its free, i understand best effort support but even with a free i would have not thought of getting that much important shopping features buggy.
Are you gonna plan to offer a paid version or any more support opportunities? Its a bit unclear your roadmap. I guess the entire community would appreciate your development direction with that theme just to be clear and everyone can then decide on his own which direction to go.
Your core is wordpress and you gonna try new directions which is fine. Keep the people involved of that journey and everyone is clear of expectation.

Thanks for your critique of the theme. The main reason that we wanted to add the templates was the fact that there are users who want to use an HTML template instead of WordPress so we wanted to provide those users with an option to make a great website design.

Thanks for your feedback. I am talking about the Shopify template and not any html version which seams to be available as well As i saw on your site the html template is another case?

After reading that i feel oh wow amazing service lets try. As i mentioned before. I usually dont use free themes and pay for the service since nobody works for free.
The expectation with shopify is less technical challenge to focus on sales, marketing and serving clients. Why do people leave wordpress, magento etc? They dont wanna have all that technical challenges on their plate.
I really still dont get your direction for that theme and experiencing that many basic shopping bugs and thats why i came up with my topic name… Do you have that paid version available which fixes all the bugs? otherwise i really need to search for another theme we gonna use…
