"The page isn’t redirecting properly" on new install

I’m just starting with shapely.

I installed the theme, used the import wizard and skipped importing home page content but installed everything else.

Then i went to create the home page, set its attribute as home page.
Went to settings and set it as the default static page.

Once I did this and tested the site by its default address I keep getting “The page isn’t redirecting properly”
When I go and customise the theme, i can see the sidebar editor, but on the right where i can preview i still see “The page isn’t redirecting properly”
However, if I go to edit the home page directly and preview it from there it i do see the page properly with the shapely content.

I’m testing this out on a bluehost staged server if that matters.

Any thoughts?

Looks like problem is in your permalink structure, please check again
