Title font, header image, and social icons

Hi @movin and whoever else is on the support team.

span.site-name a {
font-family: arial;
font-size: 35px;
}
Is there a list of fonts that work instead of arial?

Adding a header image underneath the site title? Is it possible? I see in the preview that the slider occupies the space if it’s activated, but can I make it so that the slider doesn’t…slide from an image?

And finally, I’m trying to follow your tips in this thread and this thread, but the site I want to make a social icon for doesn’t have an icon at the site you linked (Goodreads.com). Ideally I want the social icons in the navbar like the second post I linked.

Thanks!

Hi @patremagne,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your questions.

You can use any web safe fonts as listed on the below pages.

The theme currently doesn’t provide this functionality and you have to develop custom code to achieve this.

If you just assign one post to the slider category then the slider doesn’t slide.

Yes the fonawesome icon for the site Goodreads.com is requested here Icon Request: icon-goodreads [will be available in Font Awesome 5] · Issue #1715 · FortAwesome/Font-Awesome · GitHub but not added yet so you can try achieving this by using the background image as described in the following topics.

Ideally I want the social icons in the navbar like the second post I linked.

Then have you tried using the solutions posted on that thread and also in the following thread?

@movin

I’m still working on the font thing, as there aren’t any websafe ones that catch my eye.

I’m trying to use the Easy Google Fonts plugin, but Activello’s being incredibly stubborn about it. It works on every other theme I try, but none of the heading categories in the plugin do anything to any of the headings. Is some part of the theme’s code overwriting anything the plugin tries to do?

How can I darken the title as well?

We have not tested the theme with this plugin but if you are having issue with it then try using the solutions shared in the following topics.

You can achieve that by developing CSS code using CSS font-weight Property http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_font_weight.asp

Hi @movin

Thanks. What would the CSS be for changing post titles? I’d like to unitalicize and maybe change the font itself of them.

Is it possible to extend the logo length to go across the entire page?

Mousing over post titles gives an orange hover color, however I don’t see an option to change that hover color, only the default purple one. Does this need CSS?

To help us keep support thread separates could you please create new thread for your new questions here https://colorlibsupport.com/c/activello/ instead of replying on your existing thread as it makes the thread messy and hard to read.

If you want to you can also add reference of this thread in your newly created thread.

We would be more than happy to help you on your new thread.
