Ecwid is an eCommerce platform that has a plugin for WordPress.org
Our merchants, who use the illdy theme, are not able to install the store to their front page as it displays the shortcode instead of the store itself. Here’s an example — http://take.ms/l8xnk
I’ve googled the similar issues and it seems that the theme doesn’t support shortcodes, even native WordPress shortcodes like a gallery shortcode.
Do you guys have any plans to add an ability to add shortcodes to the front page? Do you have any workarounds that we can use to install the Ecwid plugin to the front page? Any information would be really appreciated.
