Unite Theme - Can't Get the Sidebar to be on the Home Page

Can someone please tell me why I can’t get a sidebar on the Home Page. The Template setting is set to: default and the Select Layout for The Page is set to Right Sidebar. The LayOut options under Unite Options is set to right side bar.

Is there somewhere else I’m supposed to check?

Please go to Appearance > Widgets > Sidebar and simply add a sidebar to that widget area.

See, that’s the problem. There is a sidebar on every page except the Home Page. That is what is so strange. No matter what layout I select, the layout on the home page never changes.

I’m not sure anymore that I want a sidebar, I went ahead and designed around not having one. BUT, if my client insists, I might need to know how to get it.
