I want to have my portfolio point to pages that I have already created, and not the ones that are made in the “Portfolio” folder. I tried looked at this thread for help but it seems you just pointed him to a solution that removes links from the portfolio and doesn’t allow you to change the links themselves. Are changing the links possible?

You can try achieving this by using the attached small plugin specially developed for you that contains some custom code.
You have to edit the attached custom plugin file colorlib-divilab-plugin.php on line number 67 and replace the function the_permalink to the link to the pages.
