Where are Additional CSS Customizations Stored and Can They Be Exported?

From time to time the layout of our website goes wrong, and the customizations seem to have been lost from the “Additional CSS” page.

Re-optimizing the css can be time-consuming and I wonder whether there is a way to resolve this issue:

  1. Why does parts of the css code disappear from time to time?

  2. Where is the “Additional CSS” code stored?

  3. Can the "Additional CSS code be exported and imported?

Hi there

Additional CSS is stored in the database, you can export/import all the customization setup by customizer import/export plugins

Not sure why you lose it, the easiest thing you can do with custom CSS is to store it in the child theme style.css file,
