Wordpress Core and Theme Broke Bootstrap Carousel

I have a carousel on my home page www.admarkcom.com that was working fine with the recommended plug in CPT Bootstrap Carousel. Rec’d a notice today that wordpress auto updated to v 5.6.1. I noticed, too, that Unite was updated, so I updated that. I have customizations in unite-child. However, now the carousel is not working, as if the javascript is not loading.

Support page for the carousel says “The plugin assumes that you’re already using Bootstrap, so you need to load the Bootstrap javascript and CSS separately.” Did something change that these are no longer loaded with Unite?

Thanks in advance for help or “point me in the right direction” on this. I did try editing the child theme footer to call the bootstrap javascript cdn and it fixed the carousel but broke the mobile navigation.

I ended up deleting the plugin and am moving forward with Smart Slider 3 which appears to be working as designed. Posting resolution here rather than deleting post, in case this will help another.
