On my website, I edited the content.php file so that the post lengths aren’t restricted to 8 words (echo ‘<h4 class=“entry-title”>’ . get_the_title() . ‘</h4>’;). This worked for all pages on the site except the homepage. Posts on the homepage still are limited to 8 words and end in “…”. Not sure what to do here.

maybe you are using read more tag in the posts? have you tried it? or maybe you have set up in WordPress setting > reading to show 8 words?
