When I activate Yoast SEO on my site it breaks Wordpress and I get a critical error that does not allow me to access the WP dashboard any longer.
“There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”
All plug-ins are up to date as well.
Using WordPress 5.3.2 running Shapely theme.

I deleted the plug-in, turned off all plug-ins, re-installed it. Then one at at time enabled all the plug-ins and it started working. Problem solved I guess
