How can I show custom post type posts in Popular Posts Widget? Or style the Recent Posts just like the Popular posts widget with thumbnails?

P.S> I asked the same question in wp sparkling forums, but I think there’s more activity going on here, so I posted here too. Pardon me for that, but I am amazed to see the extent of support you are giving on a free theme! Have tried to respond to a few questions I could handle :slight_smile: to help out

You have to change Popular Posts Widget code to achieve this. Instead you can try using the following free plugin that allows you to show custom post type posts in Popular Posts Widget.

Or style the Recent Posts just like the Popular posts widget with thumbnails?

Thanks a lot Movin. I didn’t want to use the plugins because there is already inbuilt functionality in the theme. I’d go for the second option and adapt the plugin you have custom made.
