After updating the WordPress to ver.4.4 I faced some problems with slider, it started to show the picture 768x220 size and then it greatly increases to normal size 1920x550. I’m asking for help with this problem.

**Sorry for my bad English.
Me slider works, but not FULL HD.
I uploaded 1920x500 pixels image as featured imagen in a post.
And when i see the slider image, is resized automatically to 1024.
I have tried to delete the theme, reinstall wordpress, and nothing worked.
Always the same problem.
I thing that its problem of the new version of wordpress, because i have the same problem with spanking and dazzling Colrlib theme.
Is there anithing we could do, to get full quality slider images withouwt resizing?

I fixed it via ftp, you can overwrite images via FTP and it works.
Reboot each picture? Not a variant…
When you upload a featured image as slider:
In my case, it resized to 1024 automatically.
Consecuently, on my Mac you see the slider in low quality.
So, I tried to find the route of this image resized.
Then you have to rename your hd picture, the original, with the name of the resized picture. And overwrite it via ftp. In my case it was on Wp-content/uploads…
