Hello. Trying to install v1.0.24 but I keep getting this message:

"Unpacking the package…

Installing the theme…

Destination folder already exists. /home/izakayas/public_html/wp-content/themes/illdy/

Theme install failed."

Any suggestions how to fix this? Thank you

I’m installed illdy v1.0.24 already.
The problem is when I customize site, I can see topic and content but when I see the demo, topic and content are disappear. Can you help?

Hello,

Any information that do no display on the website while not logged in or in the customizer should be re-saved.

Just go to all the issued fields and add your own information > Save and Publish.

Should work like a charm.

I installed the idlly theme but the demo site is not working i went to Settings-> readings but cannot find
the option “Readings and set your front page to display a page” and i can see the following error when i try to customize the theme

Hello @maraqa84,

To get the front page display options in Dashboard > Settings > Reading you first have to create a demo page in Dashboard > Pages > Add new.

Once created, you’d get to select the page as the frontpage.

Hello Bane,

As far as my knowledge goes, since this theme is not available in the WordPress library, you will not get an automatic update option via the dashboard, but you should keep an eye after it and manually replace the main files of the theme.

The latest current (1.0.25) version can be found here:

PS: We will continue to improve the product as we are just testing a new version, so stay close

Hello @nicky456,

It seems like you need to switch the front page display in Dashboard > Settings > Reading from Your Latest Posts to a dedicated Static Page. Please have a look here at #2 for more details:

This will get your homepage back, as it seems like your content is still in place.

Please confirm that you got it alright.

That was the first thing I have tried, but the main page was not listed in the dropdown menu!

In order to have it appear in the dropdown you need to create the page first in Dashboard > Pages > Add new.

Hi,

I’ve made the theme update but this broke all the modifications implemented ! Is there a way to roll back this update ?
It seems datas are still here but all the front page widget goes away

It seems like you need to change the front page display in Dashboard > Settings to a dedicated static homepage instead of the old latest posts.

For me, the quickest solution was to get the previous version from the backup server…
But I would like to update the template, but for that I would like to know, how to create a ‘Home’ page. I would like to ask, how to get all te features from the template in to an own created page? I mean, how to build in the ‘About’, ‘Projects’, ‘Testimonials’, ‘Counter’ and so on, to look like the way it is right now?

Hello Nicky,

You should check out Dashboard > Appearances > About Illdy > Demo Content.

We recently did some changes so no more default content on the homepage as it will not display on the live website if not completely changed.

I’ve tried to create a new home page but as nicky456 i did not understand how to add widgets on the new home page. So i reinstalled the previous version from backup.
